There has never been a better time for visual storytelling. The ability of imagery to engage, educate and inspire is more powerful, and the need for photographic identity more compelling, than ever before. One single frame has the capacity to tell the untold story.
Launching my new photographic consultancy, twentynine, gives me the opportunity to bring 30 years of experience at the forefront of editorial news photography to brands and businesses looking to better communicate their individual stories. During my 11 years as director of photography for news across EMEA at Getty images, I had the privilege of working on some of the most iconic news stories of our time, often in a way that set the imagery apart from competitors. The goal was to uncover a compelling angle, to push the boundaries and to look behind the most obvious; these are the skills that I bring to twentynine and in turn to our clients.
We will help you, through the most innovative and impactful imagery, to tell your untold stories – the stories that matter, the stories that will reach your audience in a unique and engaging way. Whether that’s a single mind-blowing frame, a photographic feature or a long form narrative.
Working across commercial and editorial clients, PR and advertising, major institutions, and NGOs, including ActionAid UK and Aspire for Equality, we specialise in concept development and story creation through to photographic strategies.
