Change Grow Live
Case study

Deliverables:

New photographic strategy, concept creation, story development, identify and commission photographer, shoot direction and edit to final delivery of impactful and engaging website imagery.

Overview:

Change Grow Live, a national charity, wanted to develop a more inclusive feel to their website imagery, truly reflecting their incredible work. Keen to visually communicate the organisations compassion and support for its clients, their existing black and white imagery felt non-representative. The challenge was to create a stronger, more vibrant photographic identity. Working with their teams we developed a new concept to showcase the invaluable work of CGL. By identifying a crucial area of their work, building human relationships using valued mentors, we were able to create imagery designed to foster trust and empathy with a more engaging narrative that best reflects their work to prospective clients.

Together we visually transformed their website imagery to better represent the true vision of this national charity, reflect their belief in people and their ability to Change, Grow, Live.

Deliverables:

Identify the photographic needs of a major global charity, address requirements around their visual storytelling, create industry leading photographic policy, concept development, story development, story and subject research, identify, commission and brief photographers, shoot edit, collaboration with design and comms teams, media traction, central London exhibition.

Overview:

ActionAid UK wanted to address the visual representation of their work across the global south and develop a stronger photographic identity, a more impactful and engaging message for their supporters in the years ahead. Through collaboration we identified and developed a year-long photographic campaign. With our extensive editorial knowledge we were able to develop the Women by Women concept, celebrating inspirational women in front of and behind the lens. Using the combined talents of local female photographers to tell the stories of incredible women in the global south, who work tirelessly for the empowerment of the women around them, we were able to give a voice and platform to both subject and photographer, capturing their talents in a very different way from the type of photography we usually associate with charities.

Women by Women engaged with five photographers, across six countries telling the incredible stories of twenty two inspirational women, from a hip hop artist in Guatemala to a coffee producer in DRC, leading to significant media and industry traction and culminating in a central London exhibition.
